What is basic sale price?
The basic sale price of a housing property is the base cost per sq.ft of the property. It is also called as Basic Selling Price. The seller sets BSP accordingly and it does not include any additional charges for amenities, floor rise, preferential location, parking and other maintenance dues.

An advertisement stating that a 2 BHK flat for sale is available at Rs. 3000/sq.ft. That means a 1000 sq.ft of flat will cost around Rs 30 lakhs which is the BSP. But this won’t be the actual price because there are many other costs involved. And it can be the additional costs that can be up to 20% of the BSP.

Thus, BSP is just the basic price you are giving to own a living space. But including other charges it cost you way higher than the developer tells.
